Sage 100 2018.1 release is now available for download

Sage announces the release of Sage 100 2018.1 on December 18, 2017. This release offers even more benefits to customers on Sage 100 and Sage 100c subscription to continue the product’s compliance enhancements.

Included in the 2018.1 release:

Customers can now receive updates and technology fixes for Sage 100 and Sage 100c. This release Helps customers improve their compliance with a wealth of tax updates along with Sage 100 Payroll enhancements. Included in Sage 100 Payroll 2.18:

Sage 100 and 100c customers receive new ways to download tax updates when they are available. With these new enhancements, customers can now utilize the tax calculation override options available on the Taxes tab in Employee Maintenance. For immediate download options, please click on the Sage customer portal at: Sage 100 Payroll 2.18.0

Note: You must install Sage 100 2018.1 before Payroll 2.18. The Payroll 2.18 release is available only for Sage 100 2018.

2018 Q1 tax table update (For customers on Sage 100 2017 and earlier):

Tax compliance is not limited to customers that have 2018.1. Sage continues to keep all of our customers in mind. The tax table update (TTU) is required for federal tax filing and for filing in some states. This is available for Sage 100 Standard and Advanced versions 2017, 2016, and 2015, and impacts payroll tax filing for filing year 2018. Note: The 2018 Q1 TTU will be the last TTU for Sage 100 2015.

Included in the Sage 2017 Interim release:

For customers that are on earlier versions of Sage 100 (i.e. 2015-2017), Sage is now providing updates for the Accounts Payable and Payroll modules with the interim release download (IRD). Now customers can get the most out of their AP and Payroll modules to maintain effective workflows within their Sage 100 product. Enjoy these updates immediately available for download on the Sage customer portal at: Sage 100 Interim Release Download (IRD) for 2017 Year End

Note: The 2017 IRD update is already included in Sage 100 2018 and Sage 100 Payroll 2.17.0.8. The 2017 IRD will be the last year-end IRD update for Sage 100 2015.

The U.S. federal government has not finalized federal income tax rates for 2018. More information from the IRS is available here: https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-statement-withholding-for-2018. When the rates are finalized, we will provide a new update, which may also include additional state tax changes.
